Nordicsky gundogs: organising

We participated with Leia in the retrievers qualifying test organised by Estonian Golden Retriever Club this weekend, judge was Ossi Kähärä from Finland. We passed the waterwork nicely and I was really happy about Leia's co-operation will. Unfortunately she had too much energy to do the proper search and forgot about her good nose, so not enough dummies arrived from the forest to pass. She is still very young and it was a good training excercise for us, as she has never seen a boat, a gunman nor so many people behind us during the training. We will continue in our own tempo :)

On Sunday, I was a secretary for the judge and learned a lot myself again about what to look for and what is important. Thank you all for the nice company!

1st day
In Valtu, Raplamaa
with judge Antti Nurmi from Finland and 3 different classes: Beginners (6 dogs), Open (dogs) and Winner (1 dog). As a result, we have now Estonian Working Champion and 2 dogs moved from Open Class to Winner class (this has not happened since 2011):

2nd day:

The dream team, thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!

I was head organiser of NOME-B tests on 3-4 September, with Mr Antti Nurmi judging from Finland
First day I was acting also as secretary, so had a good look on all the participants. Second day was much harder as the weather was warm and I also had to run around with the birds :) Great photos by Pille-Riin deliver the moods of the days very accurately :)

As part of the Estonian Retrievers Society summer days, I organised the first qualifying test so far from Tallinn, at beautiful surroundings of Kisejärve, Võrumaa. Some photos taken by brilliant Pille-Riin to show the feelings of the event will follow here.
My sincere thanks will go to all participants, who were courage to try the new grounds; to the big team of helpers including judge Riin, secretary Katri, gun Õie, game handler Merle and boatman Saarnits :) Biggest congratulations will go to the team that passed the test that day - Ivi and Chilly - I am so proud and happy for you :)
